The Islands’ weather and climate are strongly influenced by the sea and have a very characteristic Mediterranean flavour. Malta boasts some of the warmest weather in Europe with an average annual temperature of 20°C, making it a perfect destination for travellers looking to prolong their summer with some Autumn warmth, or guaranteed summer sun.

The climate is mild throughout most of the year, with warm and sporadically wet autumns, cool winters with adequate rainfall and hot, dry summers generally tempered by a cool sea breeze. The hottest weeks are from mid July to end August.
